This is a great site for Junkanoo and entertainment in The Bahamas. www.junkanoobeat.com Junkanoo is a street festival celebrated in Nassau during the month of December to celebrate Christmas and New Year's. Junkanoo is a contagious rhytm and beat. Check it out.
There are a few places that show off the junkanoo during the year, like Johnny-Canoe restaurant.
To share with you what is like to live on an island; not just on one island but Seven Hundred of them the Archipelago known as The Bahamas. I am a long time resident of the islands of The Bahamas, I live on the island of New Providence where the capital city of Nassau is found. The island of New Providence is at only 45 minutes by air from the State of Florida USA with daily flights to major cities. You too can live, visit, vacation, work and play in The Bahamas.

About Dolphins, the real dolphins, not the football
Amazing, I've been looking for info on dolphins, the mammals, the sweet dolphins that swim in the ocean, the sea, but have not found much.
We do have dolphins in the bahamas, and I recently visited Dolphin Encounters in Blue Lagoon, I understand that there is an international law that prohibits the sale of dolphins for commercial gain.......
So if you can comment on this let me know,
Priscilla
